Dew tour and Coastal Carnage contest this weekend!

It is a busy weekend for the Vans team with Tony Trujillo, Bucky Lasek, Rob Lorifice and Alex Perelson all skating the Dew tour. Trujillo will be flying west to meet up with Omar Hassan, Alex Olson, Angel Ramirez, Christian Hosoi, Johnny Layton, Curren Caples and Andrew Langi to skate the Costal Carnage contest down in Huntington Beach,Ca....also skating the contest will be ledgendary skaters Ben Schroeder, Lord Salba and Wade Speyer!

Alex Perelson Wins Maloof Money Cup Vert

Alex killed it winning prelims on Friday and squeaked by in the semi's on Saturday. Then, together with landing the 900 and variety of other tricks on the vert and mini mega, he won the finals on Sunday draining $75,000 from the Maloof Money Cup! Way to go Alex. Well deserved! Come out this weekend to squeeze the cash cow, AKA the Maloof Money Cup. We've got Curren Caples, Taylor Smith and Andrew Langi competing in the Am Contest on Friday. On Saturday and Sunday the street course will be brutalized by Tony Trujillo and the man who designed the street course, Geoff Rowley. Bucky Lasek and Omar Hassan will also be ripping the vert.

TNT, Alex Olson, AVE, Keegan Sauder, Andrew Allen, and the Lutheran brothers. Anywhere we go with these guys is bound to be mayhem! This time around, Albuquerque, New Mexico was the destination and thanks to the Lutheran brothers donating spots we had a great trip, as evidence in the mag! Also, in celebration of Chima Ferguson's first Thrasher interview, his Vans teammate Dustin Dollin took the reins. "It was all a dream", with the Notorious B.I.G. inspiring Dustin's interview techniques it makes for a good read and Chima's photos speak louder than Dustin, if that's possible. Can't wait til Chima's visa comes through. We love this August issue!

oastal Edge on 21st Street in Virginia Beach on July 25th for the Vans Block Party. Meet Geoff Rowley, Tony Alva and the Vans skate team.
