Vans Get Out and Do Something Tour kicks off today, 8/30 at the Vans store in Virginia Beach, VA with Ray Barbee and John Cardiel. Vans European Downtown Showdown

On Saturday, 14th August, Hamburg’s Red Light District hosted the biggest skateboard event the German harbour city has ever seen. Over 5,000 people visited the Spielbudenplatz throughout the day, witnessing nine of Europe’s best Skateboard teams battle it out against each other. €14’000 out of the €50’000 prize purse went to the days winning team: Element Europe. It wasn’t just the skaters having fun as the weather held out throughout the day, a thronging crowd of spectators and a high level of skateboarding were key ingredients for the success of this unique event.

The sixth annual Pro-Tec Pool Party features the best in men's concrete pool skateboarding. This year’s event takes place at the Block of Orange at the Vans' Skate Park over the course of one day. The contest is filled with action packed skateboarding with the top pool riders from all over the world competing for a chance to be crowned this year’s champion. Watch Steve Caballero bump five-time winner Chris Miller down to second place in the Masters' division and Bucky Lasek win the $30,000 Pro Division purse.
