Vans Bowl-A-Rama Purse grows

February 19th's Vans Bowl-A-Rama on Bondi Beach has increased
its prize purse to 60k.

"For the fourth and seventh year running respectively, Wellington, New Zealand’s Waitangi Bowl and the infamous shores of Bondi Beach will play host to Vans Bowl-A-Rama, the biggest concrete bowlriding series in the Southern Hemisphere.
The two 2011 events take place on back-to-back Saturdays, February 12th and 19th and will bring out professional young guns and master skateboarders such as Steve Caballero, Pedro Barros, Bucky Lasek, Omar Hassan, Bob Burnquist, Rune Glifberg, Sam Beckett, Pat Ngoho, Otavio Neto, Jackson Pilz, Juergen Horrwarth, Renton Millar, Jeff ‘Skunk’ Williams, Tony Trujillo (rumored), Curren Caples, Australian golden boy Corbin Harris and many more.
With news of the new five-year deal with the World Cup Skateboarding and the inflated prize purse figures for both Wellington ($30,000) and Bondi ($60,000) Vans Bowl-A-Rama is poised for bigger payoffs for both the competitors and spectators alike than in previous years!
